Chicago, Illinois May 7, 2018
Chicago Black Authors Network (CBAN) will be exhibiting at the 2018 Printers Row Lit Fest for the sixth straight year. The Printers Row Lit Fest is being held on June 9 and 10 from 10am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday. It is the largest free literary event in the Midwest, attracting more than 125,000 book lovers who browse the myriad stalls and tents displaying new, used, and collectible books from over 200 book sellers. This exciting event is located in Chicago’s historic Printers Row on Dearborn Street south of Harrison and extends to Polk on the south.
CBAN was founded in 1999 to promote the work of African-American authors who have books representing a variety of literary genres, from fiction, non-fiction, poetry, autobiography to spiritual, professional, as well as an extensive array of children’s literature. Our books promote diversity in literature and thought and we strive to produce works that enhance the literary experience of everyone.
This year we will also feature a variety of new books by CBAN professionals that are sure to be of interest. You may contact our president, Darryl Harvey, for more information at: firstname.lastname@example.org and check out the Printers Row Lit Fest site https://printersrowlitfest.org/exhibitors/
Look for the CBAN tent that will be listed in the program available as you enter the venue. We welcome your visit and look forward to serving you.
